L’affaire du collier de minuit
Une histoire de Livrelia
Dans la galerie
Paris, 1952.

A round table with a small lamp in the corner Characters: Colette Mercier: A woman in her early thirties, slim build, dark brown hair tied back, pale skin, wearing a beige trench coat over a black high-collar blouse, carrying a small brown leather shoulder bag. Rita Lune: A woman in her late twenties, slender, with dark wavy shoulder-length hair and pale skin, wearing a fitted black satin stage gown with a sweetheart neckline, red lipstick, and dangling earrings. Style: Film noir black and white photography, hard directional light, deep shadows, strong contrast, rain and smoke, 1940s detective mood. No text, no letters, no watermark, no speech bubbles.
Interior of an empty 1950s Parisian cabaret, lights off. A single black feather lies on the keys. The flashlight is the main light source, velvet curtain in the background Characters: Colette Mercier: A woman in her early thirties, slim build, dark brown hair tied back, pale skin, wearing a beige trench coat over a black high-collar blouse, carrying a small brown leather shoulder bag.
On a rainy Paris rooftop between two chimneys, a black-and-white magpie perches on a large twig nest, holding a glittering diamond necklace in its beak, staring directly at Colette Mercier who stands facing it, wet from the rain.
